I’m Ruth (the RMT) and you might meet my husband, James, who supports me with labour of love (front desk,manager, IT tech)
Since 2016, I have been a member of the NHPC, Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. I graduated with a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Wholistic Health and Research Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
Like you, I have experienced mobility issues with accompanying pain and restrictions. Having experienced rehabilitating pain, it inspires me to continuously seek for answers. Listening to the body has been a gift finely tuned with ongoing 10 years of experience. The more I seek, the more I understand the apparent wholistic connection of body and mind.
Having grown from the East and trained in the West, I combined various techniques acquired from school, continuing education, mentors and hands on experience. Treating the muscles works better when the body is relaxed.
Massage is experiential. As what our teacher used to say, anyone could learn the techniques but not everyone has the healing touch. Touch is a gift, and I intend to share such blessing.
